you already know the hermés kelly was inspired by princess grace kelly. but this month, you can actually view and bid on several of her gowns and belongings at sotheby's. [cont'd below]

grace, princess of monaco: a tribute to the life and legacy of grace kelly will feature dresses, jewelry and letters from the legend. the exhibition is just one part of a week-long celebration that includes book releases, photo tours and even a lipstick launch. but save your pennies (or thousand dollar bills) for the highlight. the crème-de-la-crème will show up at sotheby's october 25th auction to bid on two of grace kelly's gowns: a givenchy sleeveless dress in, well, kelly green, and the helen rose ball gown she carried in the 1956 musical high society. and of course, there's an awards gala with proceeds going to her foundation.

how very graceful.
