walk in someone else's shoes. maybe like a pair from the new iris boutique landing stateside this week.
their new NYC shop joins others in milan, london, paris, and moscow. and while you won't be forgoing your regular trips to jeffreys anytime soon, iris does come with a particularly special pedigree. it doesn't just sell shoes from designers like marc jacobs, john galliano, and viktor&rolf. oh no, it actually makes them. no really, it's true. in milan, iris produces the very lines it carries. italian architect massimilian locatelli puts his chic stamp on the washington street store. (he did, after all, design their others, and valentino's flagship in L.A.) expect their fall and winter '08 shoes to be on display as soon when the doors open (because it's never too early to start thinking about boots).
