you probably haven't shopped for a new birkin bag around wall street (after all, it's the place to make money, not spend it). once the new hermès store hits the bull market bricks, that's all about to change.

bringing some flair to the financial dist, the shop brought in rena duma - who founded RDIA in paris - to mix classic design elements into a modern space. just a stones' throw from the stock exchange, the silk-scarf superpower is staying true to it's parisian roots by incorporating grecian friezes, cherry woodwork, mosaic stone floors, and even its signature greque lighting fixtures straight from the 24 faubourg saint-honoré flagship into its lower manhattan home.

hermès has come a long way since it began making saddles and harnesses (for horses, not same kinked out marquis) nearly 200 years ago. in addition to it's classic collection of cashmere shawls, signature fragrances, and pillow-soft beach towels, the broad street store will also be introducing a full service, custom, made-to-measure department.

one thing they won't need to measure? the number of traders trading green for orange.
