if you're going to leave a lasting impression, you want it to be incredible. custom fragrance boutique, le labo, hopes to help you find your scents of self with its first west coast boutique.
le labo is french for "the lab," so it's no surprise the shop is reminiscent of one. co-founders fabrice penot and eddie roschi (who bonded while working at armani) hired the best noses in the world to create ten unique scents. daphne bugey conjured up their top-seller, "rose 31," which was dubbed best fragrance of the year. the name of each fragrance is followed by a number, indicating how many ingreds are in the formula. if it sounds scientific to you, it's anything but. the notes are pure and simple and come from grasse, the perfume capital of the world. see and touch the elements and decide what suits you best. your prize? a customized mix wth your name on the label. to add to the caché of the store, le labo will launch an exclusive fragrance (described as "the smell of angels") that will only be avail in LA, in september.
some advice? there's never been a better time to be this nosy.
