having grown up in a forest bound log cabin, it's no surprise coryn madley uses elves and other mystical creatures as inspiration. no, we're not talking about garden gnomes here. we mean madley, her clothing and jewelry line based in venice beach.

as a graduate of rhode island school of design and central st. martins in london, coryn took her fine arts degree and translated it into decadent plume collar necklaces, hand painted leather pieces and hand sewn knit dresses. the results? looks that appear to have grown organically from the woods in an m.night shyamalan movie with an urban sensibility.

with this kind of laid-back cool, madley watchers can find her pieces on the likes of sienna miller, mischa barton and carmen kass. and while her abbot kinney location is the only free-standing boutique so far, east coasters can get their hands on reworked vintage jackets and antique treasures when madley goes live come october.
