he's created some of the most arresting looks to come out of london this decade. now designer matthew williamson has you in his haute handcuff with this gold and enamel bracelet (£115).

the brightly colored, mosaic pattern on this piece is reminiscent of a trip to capri. coral, pink, turquoise and green tiles adorn the gold cuff and takes that white summer dress from frump to fab. the colors are inspired by williamson's love of detailed embroidery and design, but if the piece feels a little pucci, you're absolutely right. the dashing (ok, hot) designer became creative director of the italian company in 2005. and with special projects that range from designing coke bottles to smythson stationary, just imagine what he can do for your little ol' arm.

it's one slap on the wrist you won't mind getting.
