'tis the summer of the sequel. but if you prefer pernod over pirates, then we've got one for you. or rather two, as in les deux.

think back. we know it's hard. remember les deux cafes, the trendy hollywood hangout frequented by madonna, tom ford, and the such? well, it's back. after a three-year hiatus, the spot was snapped up by those dolce boys (geisha house, bella), who've gussied it up for a big re-opening - apparently just in time for bastille day. fitting for the newly french-inspired menu, made up mostly of fancy cocktails and desserts, like cupcakes, pastries, and a giant chocolate fountain. (the cafe has since been dropped.)

the parisian decor hasn't changed much. peach-tinted mirrors, candelabras, and dark colors abound. fashion shows and classic films are projected onto a wall, and, of course, it's never a party unless there' s a dj.

reservations recommended, or this could be one part deux you won't get to see.
